
Here's something we just found:
On May 5th, 2010, AdFreak celebrated, The 25 Most Epic Ads that aren't 1984. This list admires those who went the extra mile and produced a spot that was borderline cinematic. Drive Thru is proud to say that one of our beloved directors, Mike Nelesen, made that list!
Starting off the list at number 25, was Best Buy's Silence is Golden spot that Mike directed back in 2005. This trailer-like commercial served as an effective, yet entertaining reminder for movie goers to switch off their cell phones during the show. Much to the surprise of Best Buy Co. Inc., the "trailer" was a viral hit, attracting 2.7M hits on the website designed to complement the campaign.
We're very fortunate to have such talent on our roster!
